4. Pricing & Payments

  • Payment must be made at the time of order.
  • We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
  • If a price is incorrect due to an error, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.

5. Orders & Contract

When you place an order:

  1. You will receive an order confirmation email.
  2. A contract is only formed once your order is accepted and dispatched.
  3. We may refuse or cancel an order, including due to stock issues, errors, or suspected fraud.

6. Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates only and may vary based on your location.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or external factors.
  • You must provide accurate delivery information; failed deliveries due to inaccurate addresses may incur additional fees.

If a product arrives damaged or missing, contact us within 48 hours.


7. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

You have the right to cancel physical product orders within 14 days of receiving your item, unless the item:

  • Has been opened or used
  • Is personalised, custom-installed, or part of a service
  • Cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons (where applicable)

To initiate a return, you must contact us first.

Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

8. Service Appointments & Consultations

For any onsite installation or smart-home support:

  • Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Missed appointments may incur fees.
  • Some services are non-refundable once delivered.

9. Warranty

Products sold may include manufacturer warranties. SmartHelp Manchester does not provide additional warranties unless stated.
Warranty claims should follow the manufacturer’s procedures.


10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Losses caused by user error, misuse, or improper installation of devices
  • Indirect or consequential losses (e.g., data loss, business interruption)
  • Issues caused by third-party smart home systems, networks, or integrations
